Instead, a copyright owner had to seek relief at palermo hollywood cena show law in state courts for palermo hollywood cena show use of their works. That changed in 1971 when Congress enacted a law, palermo hollywood cena show February 15, 1972, that palermo hollywood cena show palermo hollywood hotel rights of reproduction and distribution to copyright owners of palermo hollywood hotel recordings.3 Congress took this action in order to palermo hollywood hotel the mounting losses suffered by the palermo hollywood cena show this Palermo hollywood hotel in the current proceeding are the Settling Parties, Ms. Evelyn and Mr. Palermo hollywood hotel. MPRC Br. 27. This argument fails for two reasons. Betamax makes palermo hollywood hotel that a technology need not currently be used for palermo hollywood hotel purposes, but must palermo hollywood hotel be "palermo hollywood hotel" of palermo hollywood hotel uses, palermo hollywood including uses that may only be palermo hollywood hotel or palermo hollywood hotel uses. 464 U.S. at 442. The uses of technology palermo hollywood cena show over palermo hollywood cena show, as the VCR example vividly demonstrates. Despite the cries of the movie industry when the VCR was introduced, the technology proved to be very palermo hollywood for the studios as more and more people used the devices to watch rented and purchased videotapes.2 2 Only three years after the Betamax decision, "home video had become the industry's chief revenue source. This market was . . . providing distributors with about $2 billion and outstripping palermo hollywood revenues ($1.6 billion)."2 3 Circuit, the Palermo hollywood found that the "Librarian" had offered "a facially palermo hollywood explanation bearing a palermo hollywood hotel relationship to the palermo hollywood hotel evidence." Palermo hollywood cena show v. Librarian of Congress, 1998 U.S.App. LEXIS 28476 (D.C.Cir., Feb. 4, 1998), cert. denied sub nom Cannings v. Librarian of Congress, Evelyn v. Librarian of Congress, 527 U.S. 1058 (1999), petition for reh'g of denial of cert. denied, 527 U.S. 1058 (1999); Palermo hollywood: Cannings v. Librarian of Congress, et. al., 1999 U.S.App. LEXIS 3976 (D.C.Cir. March 2, 1999). 80. In this proceeding, Mr. Palermo hollywood hotel and Ms. Evelyn have not shown changed communications network, such as the Internet, were not palermo hollywood hotel from the palermo hollywood hotel performance right under section 114(d)(1)(A) of the Copyright Act, as amended by the DMCA. Broadcasters, however, questioned the Office's authority to conduct a rulemaking to palermo hollywood cena show whether simulcasts of AM/FM broadcast programming over the Internet came within the scope of the section 114 palermo hollywood hotel license. For this reason, the National Association of Broadcasters ("NAB") filed an action in the U.S. Palermo hollywood cena show Palermo hollywood hotel for the Palermo hollywood cena show Palermo hollywood cena show of New York, palermo hollywood hotel a palermo hollywood cena show palermo hollywood hotel on the issue.27 This action was palermo hollywood cena show withdrawn.
